Anyone who has attended a WSDC - as debater, coach, adjudicator, observer or member of an Organising Committee - should register here.
What implications?
You have the choice whether to publish your details. If you choose to, your contact details and any other information you give will be available here on the site for other alumni to find. If you choose not to publish, the information will only be available to the WSDC Executive.
Why?
Lots of reasons. [1] It allows alumni to see what each other are all up to. [2] We have very little information recorded about the tournaments prior to 1997. If you attended an earlier competition, and can leave us an anecdote or two, gradually we'll build up a informal history. [3] We are starting to look for sponsorship to help Convenors and to fund bursaries for teams with fewer resources. If you work at a company that might be able to help, it's useful to know! Again, you don't have to agree to anything.
