No, as far as I'm aware, it's the first time any nation has had 3 team members in the top 3 positions since the current format of individual ranking began at WSDC 1999 in London. NZ's speaker rankings in 2008 were 1, 2, 3, 11, & 31.

However, there have been some remarkable other individual achievements over the years - Australia 1, 2, 4, 6 and 11 in 1999
Singapore 1, 4 and 6 in 2001,
Australia 1, 4, 5, and 6 in 2002,
Australia 1, 3, 4, 11 & 21 in 2003
(and Scotland 2, 5, 8 & 9 that year)
England 1, 2, 4 & 5 in 2006
Australia 1, 3, 4, 7 & 22 in 2007.

And there may be some from the above lists whom I've inadvertently omitted or others I've overlooked. I'm sorry if that is so. But it's a pretty fine list as you can see.
