World Council
The World Schools Debating Council meets annually to approve changes to the Rules, appoint hosts, and discuss other matters pertaining to the Championships. An e-mail list also exists to facilitate discussion between meetings and votes may be taken either at the physical meetings or by e-mail. See the section of the Rules regarding the Worlds Council.
An Executive Committee is elected annually by the World Council to chair working groups looking at WSDC issues and make certain decisions within their remit.
Minutes of Worlds Council Meetings are available from 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Countries are allowed to vote on resolutions of the Worlds Council if they have sent teams to two of the three Championships immediately prior to the tournament at which the vote takes place, or prior to the e-mail ballot. For the purposes of e-mail ballots, the list below will be maintained of recognised voting representatives. If a change should be made to this list, please e-mail wsdc_info@schoolsdebate.com.
All members of the mailing list are invited to contribute to discussion concerning resolutions but only the national delegates with voting rights may cast votes.
