Attendance: Participants who would like to go on any of the tours are expected to pay for the tours themselves - this will be organised at registration Lesedi is a Sotho word which means "place of light". 

It was made famous by the great leader and founder of the Southern Sotho Nation, Moshoeshoe.  During the terrible Mfecane wars, refugees from many nations joined him and were saved by him.  Each morning Moshoeshoe would awaken and walk out into the new day with this expression on his lips ... "Ke Bona Lesedi" - I see the light.Nestling in the pristine Bushveld at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountains, north of Johannesburg, lies Lesedi,  a multi cultural African Village, where families from the Zulu warrior Nation, the proud Xhosa, the warm-hearted Pedi, and the mountain dwelling Basotho, live in their traditional homesteads. Lesedi awaits those willing to participate in an adventure that reveals the mystical cultures of these ancient peoples, steeped in tribal folklore and ancestral traditions.  Join the inhabitants of Lesedi in tribal dancing and share in an African meal.
